Winds will begin to diminish slowly very late tonight or early Tuesday. It will remain windy in many areas through much of Tuesday morning especially in the Mountains so advisories may be needed once any warning expire. Temperatures will likely be up several degrees in most areas on Tuesday skies should be mostly clear tonight and Tuesday.
The nights will be cold: temperatures could drop to near freezing across colder wind sheltered sections of the interior valleys of San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties the next few nights.
As high pressure builds in over the region temperatures will jump as winds turn offshore. It'll feel good but the air will be dry and if it gets windy again in the offshore direction the fire danger will be the concern.
It'll cool off a little Thursday as winds turn more onshore.
