Gusty winds will continue across the higher elevations through Saturday morning. Otherwise above normal temperatures and clear skies are expected through early next week except for some night and morning clouds for parts of the Central Coast. Cooler weather with a chance of rain are possible by the middle to end of the week.
Winds in the Santa Barbara county mountains will increase again early in the evening. Advisories are extended into tomorrow morning with anticipation of slightly weaker winds overall.
Expecting some lowering humidities today and the gusty winds will bring elevated fire danger to the mountains and Santa Barbara Southcoast today and tonight.
Sunday I expect cooler conditions along the coast as weak offshore flow turns weakly onshore and this will continue into early next week.
In terms of the next rain chance, I took it out for Wednesday but kept it in the forecast for Thursday. A better chance of rain looks possible for Friday into the weekend.
