Windy and dry conditions on the Central Coast raises fire danger level

A combination of gusty winds and low humidity means fire danger rises on the Central Coast. Temperatures have also been above normal, however expect temps to cool off on Tuesday as a weak system passes through the area. Warm temps are expected to return though on Wednesday and for the rest of the week.

Light offshore winds are expected to linger until Sunday. Warm, dry conditions will continue into Monday.

Sunday morning will begin will clear skies in the beach and coastal areas, and some potential frost in the inland parts of the Central Coast. By the afternoon, temperatures will climb well into the 70s and then drop down to the 50s by the evening.
