Dozens of local wineries were doing their part this weekend to help local pets in need.

Sunday wrapped up the third annual Wine 4 Paws weekend. Fifty-nine wineries from across the Central Coast are donating all of their tasting fees, or a portion of all their wine sales to Woods Humane Society.

One couple came all the way from Tennessee to be part of the two-day event.

"The rescues are the best, they know that they've found their forever home and they've been saved by wonderful people," said Sharon Gros, who was visiting from Tennessee.

Last year the event raised $17,000 for pets in need of homes. For more information on adoptable animals in your area just head to the Hot Spot on ksby.com and click on Newslinks.
