Woman arrested after car chase, and it's not the first time

Atascadero Police arrested a woman Tuesday night who they say led them on a chase through the city.

Police say Tatum Stewart, 25, was wanted for violating the terms of her probation. When officers tried to stop her, they say she led them on a car chase which reached speeds of about 65 miles per hour.

Police say Stewart eventually stopped the car in front of a home on Campbell Lane and officers took her into custody.

She faces charges of felony evading and having fraudulent registration tabs on her vehicle.

Police say this is the second time Stewart has led Atascadero Police on a pursuit. The first incident happened in September of 2010.
