Woman arrested for Calif. Victoria's Secret heist

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (AP) California authorities have arrested a woman they claim stole clothing at gunpoint from a Victoria's Secret store, went on a crime spree and led pursuers on a chase that hit 90 mph.

Nichole Homes, of Phelan, was arrested on suspicion of robbery and felony evading.

A sheriff's spokeswoman tells the San Bernardino Sun that a woman snatched items off the racks at a Victoria's Secret in Victorville on Wednesday, pulled a gun on a guard and fled.

Authorities say over the next few hours, a gunwoman stole clothing from a Victor Valley mall, tried to rob a Fontana minimart and waved a gun at people in Rancho Cucamonga.

The woman's car was later spotted and chased, leading to an arrest. Authorities say they found a BB gun in it.
