The Santa Barbara Police Department says they have found 61-year-old Nancy Riordan from Santa Barbara.

A project lifesaver transmitting device helped the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department find the missing woman.

The sheriff's search and rescue team airlifted Riordan from Mora Mesa Beach Monday evening.

The City's police department says she went missing around 2:30 p.m. Monday from Ledbetter Beach, after walking away from her caregiver.
