SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Officials say a woman is hospitalized after she was hit by a train in San Francisco Saturday morning.

Caltrain spokeswoman Christine Dunn says the woman was hit by a southbound train around 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

Dunn says the woman, who has not been identified, was hit on tracks near 16th Street in San Francisco and taken to a hospital. Her condition was not known.

The train involved in the incident has not yet been moved. Trains are "single-tracking" around the incident.

No addition details have been released.
