Woman in hospital after hit and run

A 66-year-old woman is now in the hospital after firefighters say she ran into a car in Goleta and drove off.

Santa Barbara County Fire responded to a car accident around 7:08 p.m. Saturday on Ward Drive in Goleta. CHP says Ward Drive is currently closed.

When they arrived, three people were outside of their car.

CHP says a 66 year old was driving a Lexus when she hit two victims and drove off. They say she ended up hitting a box on the street and was transported to the hospital.

The other two victims taken to the hospital were released.
