SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (AP) A San Bernardino woman has died after a potentially suicidal man drove a truck into her home and pinned her against the kitchen stove.
Police say 45-year-old Glynna Rose Folkens was standing in her kitchen Thursday night when a truck barreled through a brick wall in the back of her home and pinned her, causing massive leg injuries.
Police officer Daniel Hesser says the driver, 19-year-old Christopher Segura, ran a stop sign, breached a cinder block wall and crashed through the back of the house at 9:36 p.m.
Police say the cause is still under investigation, but early evidence suggests Segura may have been attempting suicide.
Segura's condition was hospitalized but his condition was not known. It was not clear whether he would face any charges.
