The California Highway Patrol has identified the person killed in a crash near Santa Margarita last week.
The accident happened April 11 around 11:30 p.m. on Highway 101 South, just north of Highway 58 in the Santa Margarita area.
Officials say Alanna Cousins, 20, of Santa Barbara, died after the car she was riding in crashed through a guardrail and rolled down the side of the road.
The driver and other passenger, from Reseda and Santa Cruz, both sustained moderate injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but officials say alcohol was not a factor.
