Woman suffers major injuries after van crashes into pole

A woman was taken to the hospital after the California Highway Patrol says she crashed her van into a pole in Vandenberg Village on Sunday afternoon.
It happened around 2:40 p.m. on Constellation Road and Capella Street.
Officials say PG&E was called out, but there was no damage to the pole and no power outages were reported.
The driver was taken to the hospital with major injuries.
