World Cup fever was alive and well on the Central Coast as soccer fans came together to watch Spain battle the Netherlands.
Central Coast McDonald's Restaurants and El Dorado Broadcasters set up a free event at Cuesta College, complete with food, games, prizes and a bounce house for those less interested in the soccer game.
Organizers say regardless of what team the fans were rooting for, the atmosphere offered some fun for everyone.
"To be here at Cuesta College, to be able to watch the final on a big screen here it's very exciting," said Jose Guzman, a soccer fan. "To have so many people also here with us it's great. I think it's the beginning of something that's really great."
