A Nipomo man was arrested for a DUI early Sunday morning, after police say, he was driving on the wrong side of Highway 101.

21 year old Ramon Ramos was taken into custody around 4:45a.m. Sunday after several drivers noticed him traveling Northbound in the Southbound lanes near Santa Maria.

Arroyo Grande Police stopped Southbound drivers at Traffic Way, while Santa Maria CHP gave San Luis Obispo officers live updates of his location.

They were eventually able to block Ramos, just south of El Campo Road where he was arrested for driving under the influence.
