Before you stir the stuffing this Thanksgiving, a non-profit group is stirring up some food for thought on the Cal Poly campus.

Thursday was WTF Day, which stands for "Where's the Food, Without the Farmer?"

Volunteers with the group "I Love Farmers" took the opportunity to help Cal Poly students understand where their Thanksgiving feast comes from.

"We believe that if we can get young people's attention, that we can talk to them reasonably and realistically about where their food comes from, so that they'll make different buying and voting choices in the marketplace," said Scott Vernon, coordinator.

Similar events took place on 15 other university campuses today, including U.C. Santa Barbara and Stanford.
