Mark your calendars, this Saturday is the First Annual Five Cities Firefighters Golf Ball Drop that benefits the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation and the Five Cities Firefighter's Alliance.

Tickets are $5 each, which corresponds to a number on a golf ball.

All of the golf balls will be then dropped from the Five Cities Fire Department's 100' ladder truck at 16th Street Park in Grover Beach on Saturday, June 30. So far, more than 1,200 have been sold.

Prizes, which include a 50" flat screen tv, beach cruiser bicycle, charcoal bbq grill, 2 night hotel stay at Hampton Inn and Suites, ATV Rental, coffee gifts, local dining gift certificates, hour massage gift certificates, and more, will be awarded to the ball that makes it into the hole and those that are closest.

Four rounds of balls will be dropped between 10 a.m. and noon. Ticket holders do not need to be present to win.

Tickets can be purchased on-line by clicking here or at the fire station on Traffic Way in Arroyo Grande.
