Young California gray whale spotted in Santa Barbara

A juvenile California gray whale was spotted in swimming the ocean between the Ty Warner Sea Center and Stearns Wharf in Santa Barbara.

Witnesses estimate the whale as 15 feet long. Scientists say the whale is milling, which means staying in one area for awhile. Initially onlookers thought the whale was feeding
