Dozens of young cancer patients and their families were treated to a dose of holiday spirit on Tuesday.

The party was at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center.

The kids and their families were treated to dinner, dessert, crafts, and gifts from Santa.

The party and holiday gifts take on a special meaning for 13-year-old Tyler Borges who went through two years of cancer treatment.

"I've been going to this party for a last few years and I've been having a lot of fun since the first one. It's really fun after all the treatment we've been through , it pays off," said Tyler.

You may remember us showing you the nurses who are part of the "Oncology Nursing Society" last week wrapping gifts for this annual holiday party.
