For Your Family Friday, our own Bill Halter was cruisin' at the Morro Bay Car Show. Bill was the show's grand marshall this year for the 15th annual event.

It started small, with around 150 cars the first year. But Friday, organizers say more than 500 cars were registered to parade through the city. They say the car show isn't just a family friendly event, it's also a huge money maker for Morro Bay.

"this car show provides about $500,000 to the community over this four day event," said Event Coordinator Ken Vesterfelt. "That's what is was created for, this time of the year, was just to bring some business into town."

If you missed cruise night, you can still catch the hot rods and classic cars Saturday and Sunday. Click here for a schedule.
