Shelter: Santa Maria Valley Humane Society

This sweet Pomeranian mix puppy was born with a birth defect. Unable to afford her surgery, her former owner authorized the veterinarian to have her euthanized. The vet's office placed a call to SMVHS to see if this little girl could be accepted into the adoption program. Adira's surgery was successful and she is healing beautifully. She is a playful, rambunctious bundle of love looking for a permanent home.
