We keep hearing reports about local shelters being too full. So now would be a perfect time to help them out, and adopt a pet. It's time for Your Family Pet.
This week we have Wylie. He is a very friendly and energetic Wirehaired Terrier mix. He is about a year and a half old and weighs in at 19 pounds.
He's currently at the Santa Maria Valley Humane Society. Wylie enjoys being outdoors, playing with toys, and being around people and other dogs.
And here's Buddy. He is a joyful boy and loves to run. His previous owner says Buddy also likes to play fetch or frisbee, and likes other dogs.
Anywhere there's an opportunity to have fun, Buddy's ready to join the party. He's at the San Luis Obispo County Animal Shelter.
And last but not least, there is Spot. He is a 9-year-old Foxhound who has been a guest of Woods Humane Society for more than two years.
He doesn't do very much, and would be perfect for someone who is just looking for a "dog." And how about this, Spot has his own facebook page.
Spot gets along great with other dogs, likes kids, and usually has something to say about your driving when riding in the car.
