Okay, you've broken all your other new year's resolutions. Why don't you keep the one where you adopt an animal from a local shelter. It's time for Your Family Pet.
We're going to start with Jag. He's pictured here chomping on a chew treat. He is an eleven-year-old Schipperke mix but does not show his age.
Jag had previously lived in a home without kids but would do best with kids 12 years and up. He also lived with both dogs and cats. Jag walks well on-leash.... or off and never goes potty in the home. He comes to us from the Santa Maria Valley Humane Society.
Next up, Windsong. He is a 4-year-old medium length grey and cream tabby with a cute pink nose, huge golden eyes and long whiskers.
Windsong is extremely affectionate and loves to head butt and rub his handsome face against yours.
Spend a few minutes petting him... and you'll very quickly have him rolling around on his back, reaching out for you with his big, soft paws. You can find Windsong at Woods Humane Society.
And finally we have Dingo. Dingo is an all-around good dog. He's currently at the San Luis Obispo County Animal Shelter.
He gets along with other dogs and has lived with kids and cats. Dingo likes to play fetch and be with people. He would make a great family dog, running companion or both.
