If it's Tuesday, it's time to make a difference day for an animal at a local shelter. Time for Your Family Pet.
Let's begin with Myron. He's a three year old boxer. He has many of the characteristics that people love... happy, curious and eager to please.
Boxers are also known for bonding very closely with their family as well as being loyal and affectionate. Myron enjoys being with people and forms up attachments quickly.
He can be found at the San Luis Obispo County Animal Shelter.
Next we have Suite. He is the only remaining kitten from the 2008 season at Woods Humane Society.
Suite is a very cute guy with stunning round golden eyes and a great fluffy black tail.
Affectionate and loving, Suite has an independent nature, wanting attention on his own terms. He is very gentle when he is in the mood and makes a great snuggly "laptop".
And finally, it's Lily. She's playing a game of peek-a-boo with you. This one-and-a-half year old blue-eyed beauty loves attention and especially being rubbed on her head.
She's been described as a "proper" lady. She's affectionate and sweet! She can be independent and enjoys exploring the indoor jungle.
You can find her at the Santa Maria Valley Humane Society.
And catch Your Family Pet every Tuesday on KSBY News at Five.
