Cameron Polom joined KSBY News in May of 2012, after a successful six year career in financial advising.

Originally from Arizona, Polom attended Arizona State University where he studied business and economics. His passion for writing and story telling led him to return to his alma mater and complete a degree in broadcast journalism at the Walter-Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication with a minor in political science.Before joining KSBY, Polom reported for three newspapers, and worked for three television stations, including KTVK-TV in Phoenix and Cronkite News Watch where he anchored and reported.

"The community tells our stories, not the other way around, and I intend to tell those stories as accurately and honestly as I can using memorable characters and thought provoking video," says Cameron. "That's my passion and it's nice that your job can really also be your passion."

When he's not on the scent of his next story, Cameron spends time hiking, running, golfing and cooking with his fiancé, Leah, and dog boo. "My family is my inspiration and my spirit behind all of my work."
