FAMILY BIRTHING CENTER TOUR: Take a family birthing center tour at French Hospital Medical Center. This tour will familiarize expectant families with the birthing center, and answer any questions. This small group tour takes 30-45 minutes. Call for an appointment (805) 542-6659. Meet in the French Hospital lobby at 1911 Johnson Avenue, San Luis Obispo. Partners, coaches and grandparents are welcome and encouraged to attend.

PRE-REGISTRATION FOR BIRTH: Pre-registration may be done at the Information Desk in the Main Lobby. Hours are Monday-Friday 5:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Please bring your identification and insurance cards. This is done on a walk-in basis and is best to complete by your seventh month of pregnancy.

THE BABY HOUR: WEEKLY BREASTFEEDING SUPPORT GROUP: Join other nursing mothers and a lactation consultant for this free wReekly breastfeeding support group. This one-time class is designed for children ages 3-12 and emphasizes the importance of being a big brother or big sister. It includes hands-on fun with life-size baby dolls, lots of tips, an activity and a short movie on becoming a sibling. We will also take a tour of the Family Birthing Center and hopefully meet a newborn. Parents also attend; bring your cameras! FREE
