Nancy Chen is a graduate of the University of Southern California where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. She even spent three-and-a-half months in Beijing, perfecting her use of the language.

Before working at KSBY, Nancy worked as a reporter for Palestra.net, a national college news website and former subsidiary of FOX News. In addition, she was also an online producer for KABC in Los Angeles.

Nancy received invaluable real-world experience when she interned at some of the top news outlets across the country, including Good Morning America, NBC News and NBC Olympics in Beijing.

Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Nancy is happy to be able to stay in California and is enjoying all the Central Coast has to offer. When she can find the time, Nancy enjoys traveling, hiking and running. She's even a good cook and loves whipping up something special for family and friends.
