Nikki Ibarra joined the KSBY News team in November 2011 as a Multimedia Journalist covering the Santa Maria, Lompoc and Santa Ynez Valleys.

Originally from Southern California, Nikki first fell in love with the Central Coast when she attended school at UCSB where she graduated with dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Communication and Global Studies.

Prior to joining KSBY, Nikki worked on the news desk at Access Hollywood, an entertainment news show that airs across the country. At Access, she did everything from writing and producing news pieces, to field producing for movie premieres and press junkets. Nikki also reported for Crown City News in Pasadena, as well as NewsWatch LA.

Nikki is also a proud member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.

When she has free time, Nikki enjoys spending it with family and friends and enjoying all the Central Coast has to offer.
