Mrs. Bridget Ready's 5th class at Bishop Peak Elementary School in San Luis Obispo received KSBY and SLO Dental's One Class at a Time $250 grant this morning.
The money will go to buy plants and garden supplies to fill the three large bins outside their classroom.
It will also be used to buy books to teach students about planting, picking, cooking and eating healthy.
The class sells the vegetables they grow at their school's farmers market.
