    All last week, KSBY viewers helped Stuff the Bus across the Central Coast so kids would be ready for the school year. Now, those supplies are being distributed.

    Inland temps pulled a mild shocker today hitting the mid-90s, now that sounds very warm but it is statistically very close to normal. Interestingly Morro Bay only hit 57 for a high after an overnight low of 53, that is not very dynamic.

    The Stuff the Bus event continues through this week.

    KSBY is teaming up with United Way and other local businesses to help kids get ready for the school year.

    Buses are parked in Santa Maria, Lompoc, Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo, and Arroyo Grande. School supplies can be donated at all of those locations.

    The Stuff the Bus event continues through Friday, August 9th.

    It's that time of year when you can help kids get supplies for the upcoming school year.

    For one week starting Friday, there will be buses parked in Santa Maria, Lompoc, Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo and Arroyo Grande, where you can donate supplies.

    Dave Hovde will be at the Walmart in Santa Maria on South Bradley during our 5 and 6 news Friday to help collect your donations.

    The start of the school year is right around the corner. Back to school shopping is exciting for students, but it may put an even bigger dent in parents' and teachers' wallets than last year.
