The Righetti softball team won 6-2 at Grand Terrace to advance to the third round of the Division-3 playoffs. The Arroyo Grande High boys tennis team's CIF postseason run ended on Tuesday with a 5-2 loss at La Jolla in the first round of the So-Cal Regional.

The San Francisco Bay Area was awarded hosting rights to Super Bowl L in 2016, while Houston will host Super Bowl LI in 2017. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell made the announcement in Boston on Tuesday.
