California State Parks announced on Thursday that Refugio State Beach has been cleared to reopen on July 17 at noon.
Members of the Unified Command and California State Parks completed a site assessment of the beach and deemed it safe for the public.
All recreational activities can resume, including swimming, camping and fishing next week.
Non-state park areas, south and east of Refugio will remain closed as cleanup continues in that area.
This comes after a Plains All-American pipeline leaked more than 100,000 gallons of crude oil along the South Coast.
