Grover Beach police on Thursday arrested two men after getting a tip about a possible drug transaction in the 100 block of Carmelde Lane.

Police say they stopped a vehicle seen leaving the area and found the driver to be Allen Michael Thompson, who was wanted by the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office and featured this week on the Crime Stoppers website.

Police say Thompson was driving on a suspended license and both he and his passenger, Jordan William King, were on probation.

Officers searched the car and say they found drugs and a gun.

Thompson faces numerous charges, including possession of drugs, possession of drugs for sale, being a felon in possession of a firearm, driving on a suspended license, and having six outstanding warrants for his arrest.

Charges facing King include possession of drugs, possession of drugs for sale and a probation violation.
