MASH homeless outreach event being held in the Paso Robles Event Center Wednesday

A special event to help serve the homeless community is being held in Paso Robles Wednesday October 21st.

The Mobile Assistance and Services Addressing Homelessness (MASH) outreach event provides free services to the homeless.

Services include haircuts, flu shots, blood pressure checks, pet vaccinations, and enrollment of eligible persons in the Medi-Cal program.

It takes place from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Estrella Building in the Paso Robles Event Center.

    One crew member is dead and another recovering from a fishing boat accident north of San Simeon. Around midnight on Thursday, the mast of the 54-foot Pamela Rose fishing boat broke, killing one crew member and injuring another, according to the Coast Guard.
