Paso Robles street lights will be upgraded to LEDs

Posted: Updated:

PG&E has announced it is upgrading street lights in the Paso Robles area.

Crews will replace the street lights with LED lights. They say LEDs are energy efficient and will last longer.

More than 2,300 street lights in the City of Paso Robles will be replaced. PG&E has not set an exact date to start the project, but says work will begin later this month.

Once the light replacement work begins, crews say they expect all the street lights to be replaced within 30 to 60 days.
