Local moving company Meathead Movers is delivering what it calls "Do Good Boxes" to people that are moving.

Customers are asked to fill their Do Good Boxes with any items they might throw away during their move. That includes any books, pet supplies and/or non-perishable foods.

Meathead Movers will donate its customers' Do Good Boxes to three local nonprofits: The Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County, United Way of San Luis Obispo County and Woods Humane Society.

President and CEO of Meathead Movers Aaron Steed said, "When we're able to create value for our employees, our clients and our community, we know we have a winning formula. The Do Good Box really touches all of that."
