Local artists touch up damaged cows from SLO Cow Parade

Posted: Updated:

Cows stationed around the county from the “SLO Cow Parade” art exhibit occasionally need medical attention.

French Hospital is the official “Cow Hospital” sponsor.

Local artists are touching up cows that have suffered chipped paint, damaged hooves, and missing ears.

"We have had three recent incidents of cows coming to our hospital,” Dignity Health Spokesperson Megan Maloney said. “’Marilyn Moonroes’ dress and tail were damaged, ‘Classic California’ in Pismo beach had an arm injury, and then the ‘Mini Moo Royale’ was injured in a suspected but unsuccessful cattle rustling incident."
