UPDATE - February 22, 2017: The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office reports that Michael Fordyce was taken into custody by Santa Barbara County Sheriff's deputies on February 18.

ORIGINAL STORY - Michael David Fordyce, 32, is the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Most Wanted Wednesday suspect this week.

Fordyce is wanted on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, obstructing/resisting an officer, and committing a felony with a prior violent conviction.

He is described as 6'2" tall and 180 pounds. He was last known to be a transient living in the Big Sur area.
