Voting is now closed for the San Luis Obispo CowParade. Officials announced the top ten on Sunday which will be headed to a live auction on May 6.

The top ten cows are:
Coastal Cow, sponsored by the city of Cambria.
Cow-a-fornia, at Ranchita Canyon Vineyard.
Jesse/Jane, sponsored by Barnett Cox and Associates.
See Cow Do, located on Cal Poly's campus.
The Vineyard Diva, outside of the Cambria Historical Museum.
Starry Night Cow, at the El Paseo Center.
The Electric Cream Dream, located at Dinosaur Caves Park.
Picowso, at the Allegretto Vineyard Resort.
Moo-zek, sponsored by the Avila Beach Golf Course.
And KSBY's own Media Moo, located in front of our station.

These life-sized fiberglass cows will continue to be showcased throughout SLO County through April 30, 2017. Local artists left their mark on the cows and spectators voted for their favorites.

Pre-auction bidding for the cows is still underway; however, only the top ten head to the live auction. On May 6, Ancient Peaks Winery will host the charity auction for the cows.

The money made from each cow will benefit The Land Conservancy of San Luis Obispo County, ARTS Obispo, and the CMSF Heritage Foundation along with 37 other local non-profits. The auction will include wine tasting, a prime rib dinner, and entertainment throughout the night.

You can pre-bid on the cows at this link: http://www.biddingowl.com/Auction/home.cfm?auctionID=10709

CowParade is an international public art exhibit that has been featured in nearly 75 major cities around the world. The goal of CowParade is to bring communities together to celebrate agriculture and art.
