A traffic stop in Lompoc ended with an arrest for transportation of controlled substances.

According to police, officers pulled over a car Thursday afternoon and determined the driver’s license was suspended.

The vehicle was towed, but an inventory search revealed suspected drugs, according to officials.

Officers allegedly found 5.1 ounces of suspected methamphetamine with a street value of $14,500, 4.9 grams of suspected marijuana, and 0.8 grams of suspected heroin.

Officers arrested 25-year-old Eddie Morello Jr. on charges of driving on a suspended license and transportation of controlled substances. He was booked into the Lompoc City Jail.
