San Luis Obispo softball snags 10th straight win, including playoff opener against El Segundo

PAC 8 title holders, San Luis Obispo High School softball snagged its 10th straight victory after defeating El Segundo, 8-3 in the CIF division 4 opener Thursday afternoon.

Malia Xiao Gin would pitch a shutout inning into the sixth when El Segundo would add some runs after a three-run homer by Kaili Reitano.

Tigers would add insurance runs to secure the win. San Luis Obispo will play Beckman High School in the second round on Tuesday.
