Fire burns 6+ acres at campground near Cachuma Lake

A brush fire burned 6.25 acres at the Rancho Oso Campground in Santa Barbara County on Friday afternoon, according to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.

The fire broke out at about 2:10 p.m. at the campground located off of Paradise Road east of Cachuma Lake.

Fire officials say the flames threatened some travel trailers, but firefighters were able to prevent any damage.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
