Two arrested after strong-arm robbery in a San Luis Obispo hotel room

Two people from Sacramento were arrested Saturday after a strong-arm robbery in San Luis Obispo. 

San Luis Obispo Police say a victim met Anetta Eaton, 24, of Sacramento at a hotel room in the 1600 block of Calle Joaquin just after 1 p.m. They say that's when Tierre Washington, 23, also from Sacramento walked in, took the victim's money and rummaged through his wallet. The victim ran out and called 911. 

When officers arrived, Eaton and Washington were gone. 

Police say the suspects were located in a hotel room in the 9400 block of El Camino Real in Atascadero a couple hours later. SLOPD along with Atascadero Police arrested the suspects for robbery and conspiracy. Eaton also faces a prostitution charge. 

Eaton and Washington were booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail and are being held on $30,000 bail.
