Small fire breaks out in vacant lot in Oceano

A small vegetation fire broke out in a vacant lot in Oceano Monday afternoon.

Five Cities Fire Authority says the fire ignited around 2 p.m. in a vacant lot near the intersection of 20th Street and Wilmar Avenue. 

Two engines were sent to the scene, and the fire was put out shortly after they arrived. 

No damages or injuries were reported. 

The cause of the fire has not been identified.
