Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Here are some of the events happening around the Central Coast:

SATURDAY, AUGUST 12

Orcutt Trails 5k/10k
8 a.m. - packet pickup
9 a.m. - races begin
Orcutt Community Park, 5800 S. Bradley Road, Orcutt
The 5k and 10k courses start at the park and loop around the Orcutt Trails. The event is a fundraiser for the Santa Maria Valley Open Space trail advocacy group.
Registration: $25-$35

2nd Saturday Artisans' Show
Noon - 5 p.m.
The Grange Hall, 2374 Alamo Pintado Avenue, Los Olivos
Local artisans display their original, handmade works of art for show and sale.

Meet Wild Animals
1 - 2 p.m.
San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden, 3450 Dairy Creek Road, San Luis Obispo
Pacific Wildlife Care will present an American kestrel, screech owl, and opossum. The event will be followed by a docent-led tour of the garden at 2 p.m.
Suggested donation: $5 for members, $10 for non-members; parking is $3

Family Swim Night
5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Centennial Pool, 600 Nickerson Drive, Paso Robles
The event will include inflatable water toys, face painting, balloon animals, water balloons, gunny sack races, snow cones and other snacks, and photo props.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 13

Baywood Boatzart
12 p.m.
Back Bay Cafe, 1399 2nd Street, Baywood Park
The Six Clarinet Players will perform jazz tunes, Broadway hits, Ragtime, waltzes, tangos, and more. Attendees are invited to arrive by land or by sea via kayak, SUP, canoes, catamarans, or sailboats.

Village Summer Concert Series
1 p.m.
Rotary Bandstand, Heritage Square Park, Village of Arroyo Grande
Monte Mills and the Lucky Horseshoe Band will perform classic country tunes. Food, drinks and ice cream will be available for purchase.
