If you're feeling lucky this weekend, you'll have more than one chance to win a whole lot of money.

Friday night's Mega Millions jackpot is its fifth largest at $393 million. Saturday, the Powerball jackpot stands at $356 million.

A lot of people are lining up for a chance to finance their wildest dreams.

"A lot of people, they want to just, you know, buy their dream house, they want to buy their dream car, of course. A lot of people say, 'we're gonna share it with you,' which they won't," laughed Simon Kassis, owner of Liquor Emporium in Lompoc.

Kassis' store sold a winning Powerball ticket worth more than $300,000 back in June. He says he tells all of his customers that his store is the lucky store on the Central Coast.

However, the odds of winning are slim: one in 292 million for the Powerball game and one in 259 million for the Mega Millions.

The largest jackpot ever was in January 2016 when the Powerball prize soared to more than $1.5 billion.

The winning Mega Millions numbers will be drawn after 7:45 p.m. on Friday. The Powerball drawing takes place after 7 p.m. on Saturday.
