Cuesta College president announces retirement

Cuesta College Superintendent/President Dr. Gil Stork announced Friday his plan to retire in 2018.

Dr. Stork has worked at Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo for more than 50 years, starting out in 1967 as a physical education instructor and assistant football coach. He has served in several other positions over the years and has been president since 2010.

He says his last day will be June 30, 2018.

Cuesta College plans to launch a nationwide search to fill the position of superintendent/president.
