Not many Central Coast residents missed all the thunder rumbling and flashes of light throughout the sky last night.

The San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties were both under a severe thunderstorm warning earlier in the evening on Sunday and continued just for Santa Barbara County through Monday morning.

We got video of dashcam footage from Arroyo Grande as KSBY's director Frankie drove into work in the early hours.

With a phone mounted on his dash, he was able to catch multiple lightning strikes.
