Three people accused of spray-painting tunnel opening in Goleta

Three men are accused of spray-painting graffiti on a tunnel opening in Goleta on Saturday.

The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office said deputies arrested Joseph Peransi, 31, Jansen Lee, 33, and Gregory Smith, 32, on suspicion of vandalism.

Deputies said they found more than 60 cans of spray-paint on the three men on Saturday.

A citizen spotted the trio at Cathedral Oaks and Glenn Annie Road on Saturday before calling police.

Peransi and Lee are being held on $45,000 and $105,000 bail, respectively. Smith posted $20,000 bail and was released.
