Resurfacing road work planned on Depot St. in Santa Maria

Posted: Updated:

Drivers in Santa Maria can expect some delays this week.

A resurfacing project begins Thursday and runs until Friday. Roadwork will be on North Depot Street from West Fesler to West Alvin Avenue.

Crews are applying a slurry seal that will help the road last longer.

Residents on North Depot are advised to park their vehicles on a side street during construction hours because driveways will not be accessible during that time. Individual driveways will be closed for 30 to 60 minutes while the water in the slurry evaporates and the slurry cures.
