This recipe comes from the kitchen of Beda Schmidthues, the man behind San Luis Obispo’s only German restaurant, Beda’s Biergarten. Frikadellen are traditional German meatballs and would be the perfect thing to serve at your own Oktoberfest party.

You can hoist your steins and sport your Lederhosen’s this Saturday at the inaugural Avila Beach Oktoberfest, sponsored by Beda’s Biergarten. For more on that, click here.

Beda says this recipe makes meatballs for a lot of people so you may want to adjust for smaller Oktoberfest parties.

If your Frikadellen don’t turn out uber deliciously, leave it to the pros and visit Beda’s Biergarten located at 3230 Broad Street in San Luis Obispo.
